Understanding Down Syndrome
Down syndrome is a genetic condition caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21 that affects development and learning. At JCDC, we provide early intervention and ongoing therapy support for children with Down syndrome to help them reach their full potential. Our program addresses speech and language development, motor skills, cognitive abilities, and social skills through a combination of speech therapy, occupational therapy, special education, and parent guidance.
